Dog daycare in Killinghall & Ripley

The villages north of Harrogate are home to a lot of our fluffiest regulars, and our groom room is a short hop down the road.

What we see locally

  • Double-coated breeds are popular here: our deshedding treatment is a firm favourite.
  • Greenway walkers often pair a daycare day with a groom (£5 off).
  • Hampsthwaite, Birstwith and Clint are on the route.

“The bus has changed our mornings. Same driver, a text when he's ten minutes away, and two very fluffy dogs home after a full day, happily shattered.”

Questions

Asked at the gate

What vaccinations does my dog need?

Up-to-date core vaccinations (distemper, hepatitis, parvovirus) and leptospirosis, plus the kennel cough vaccine. Flea and worm treatment should be current too. Bring the vaccination card to your meet and greet.

Is the first session really free?

Yes. Every new dog starts with a free 3-hour settle-in session. It's how we get to know them, check how they play and choose the right pack. No obligation to book afterwards.

Does my dog need to be neutered?

Dogs over 12 months should be neutered or spayed for group daycare. Not there yet? Talk to us: we'll often find a spot in a smaller group. Girls stay home during a season and for two weeks after.

What happens when it rains?

Yorkshire weather is no problem. The Barn is a heated indoor play space with rubber flooring and plenty of games. Muddy dogs are towel-dried and brushed before home time.

Can I change or cancel days?

Swap days with 48 hours' notice, subject to space. Weekly plans are billed over 50 weeks, so two weeks of holiday a year cost nothing. Plans are rolling monthly, with no long contract.

Anything else? Call 01632 960584 and you'll speak to someone who's been in the field today.
